The Mestalla is surprisingly easy to access. You don't even need to get a cab or a Metro train unless you really want to. The ground is 20 mins on foot from the centre of Valencia, and just a 10 minute walk from the party district of Canovas. If you don't want to walk, you can get off the Metro at Aragon Station, on Line 5.
La Liga matches are notoriously difficult to pin down for exact dates, and fixtures can be moved at the last minute.
