6 TV shows were looking forward to in 2015
Whether you're fighting a hellish hangover, hiding from the miserable weather, or simply trying to save your cash, we all love getting comfy on the sofa and binge-watching our favourite TV shows from time to time.
With the number of new and returning TV shows on the horizon constantly increasing, we've cut through the rubbish to give you six TV shows we think you should be watching in 2015.
House of Cards (Season 3)
27th February sees the return of everyone's favourite blood-thirsty, Machiavellian politician, Frank Underwood, as Netflix releases the third series of House of Cards. Since its inception, the show has gone from strength to strength, winning numerous awards and accolades. And because the show is a Netflix original, you don't have to wait a week in between episodes, as the entire third series will be released on the same day!
Mad Men (Season 7)
After a short break, 2015 will see the final seven episodes of Mad Men as the long-running series finally comes to a close. Mad Men will surely go down in history as one of the greatest drama series of our time, and we can't wait to see how it ends!
Better Call Saul
The internet lost its mind last year when it was announced that we would soon be given something to fill the Breaking Bad shaped hole in our lives. Better Call Saul focusses on the life of morally questionable, small-time lawyer Saul Goodman in his pre Walt and Jesse days. And with a number of the Breaking Bad team involved in this project, we have high hopes!
True Detective (Season 2)
True Detective became a major TV player in 2014, thanks partly to the excellent pairing of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Questions have been raised about whether Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell can fill the rather large shoes left by their predecessors, and only time will tell.
The Last Man on Earth
The Last Man on Earth is quite an interesting idea for a comedy, starring Will Forte as a man searching America for any other survivor of an apocalyptic incident that wiped out humanity. If the trailer is anything to go by, this will definitely be one to watch!
Archer (Season 6)
If you haven't seen Archer before, think of it as 'James Bond meets Arrested Development'. The show centres on arrogant, self-centred, master spy, Sterling Archer and his missions undertaken as part of the fictitious International Secret Intelligence Service in New York City. Rude, crude, foul-mouthed, this isn't your standard cartoon - definitely not one for children!
