Budapest
Recently named the most affordable European city break by the Post Office, Budapest is the ideal stag do destination. Hungary's capital is a hotbed of hedonism and has enough history to keep the biggest buff happy. It's got everything from ancient caves to cellar clubs and lap dancing joints with fantasy shows that'll turn your hair white!
Go caving by day and naked mud wrestling after dark.
Berlin
If you're looking for cheap and cheerful city breaks for a stag do, Berlin is well worth a look. There's shedloads of stuff to see and do, from Checkpoint Charlie and the Reichstag to the futuristic film museum on Potsdamer Platz.
You can prove you got some culture on your stag do without even trying. If you want to have a bit of fun with it, take a Trabant trek and drive round the city centre in one of the biggest bangers to come out of Eastern Europe. You'll also find tons of old school taverns serving frothy beer and giant pretzels, plus a club called Bastard. Only in Berlin!
Brussels
A mecca for beer connoisseurs, Brussels deserves its place on this list of cheap and cheerful city breaks. The Post Office research reckons you'll spend £202 on the essentials, which is pretty reasonable for a stag weekend. This is a city of surprises. Look beyond the men in suits and you'll find a cracking party and clubbing scene. If reaching for the lasers isn't your idea of a good time, spend the stag weekend touring the old school boozers. No city break in Brussels would be complete without a jug of white beer at The Lark.
Nottingham
Ok so we might be biased (our offices are here) but Nottingham genuinely IS one of the best cheap and cheerful city breaks in the UK. Basically because of the hotel and bar prices. Oh, and it's got a Hooters near the railway station. The basics are nice and affordable, which means you can try fun stuff like It's a Knockout,or go beer tasting.
To top it all off, everything's convenient. You can do an entire stag night in Hockley and the Lace Market, all the pubs and bars are within easy walking distance. As you're on a Nottingham stag do, start the celebrations in rip roaring style with a Medieval banquet.
Brno
If you want somewhere less obvious than stag do favourites like Prague, try Brno. She may be smaller than Prague, the Czech Republic's city has plenty to offer a bunch of red blooded chaps, like tank driving< pistol shooting and lesbian dinner parties. Food and drink are dirt cheap (£1 a pint!) and as the city centre is small but perfectly formed, you don't need to waste precious cash on taxis. Top marks on all fronts.
Dubrovnik
Croatia's second largest city lies on the Adriatic Sea coast and is fast becoming one of Europe's hottest city break destinations. Why go to Dubrovnik for a stag weekend? It looks like something out of Game of Thrones with its medieval walls and soaring turrets. It's not all about the history. Go jet skiing from the famous Copacabana Beach by day and hit the buzzing Old Town after dark.
Newcastle
Cheap, cheerful and stuffed to the gills with girls in short skirts, Newcastle is one of the most popular city break and stag do destinations. The Toon has everything: St James Park for football fanatics, the Angel of the North, the crazy Centre for Life, Newkie brown ale and of course, legendary nightlife.
