Saturday Night Live parodies Justin Bieber's Calvin Klein advert
Earlier this month Calvin Klein launched a new advertising campaign starring none other than pop pipsqueak Justin Bieber. The campaign instantly went viral, partly thanks to Bieber's insane fan base, but partly due to the sheer ridiculousness of the commercial. There were even rumours of Photoshop being used to touch up the finished images and make Bieber look bigger. Well it seems there is still fun to be had with this, as Saturday Night Live's Kate McKinnon's amazing parody of the campaign shows!
The Lego Movie director has perfect response for Oscars snub
The internet was less than impressed last week when The Lego Movie missed out on an Oscar nomination in the Best Animated Film category. The list of nominees included Big Hero 6, The Boxtrolls, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Song of the Sea, and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, and people were pretty angry with the lack of Lego! Rather than complain or kick up a fuss though, director Philip Lord gave the best possible response, tweeting out an image of his own Oscar statue, built from Lego! Well played Philip!
Google halts sale of Google Glass
If you had dreams of getting your hands on a pair of futuristic Google Glass, you may be disappointed to hear that Google has brought an end to its initial 'experiment'. Google has come out to say that they are still committed to launching the product to consumers in the future, but are stopping creating them in their current form and instead focussing on 'future versions of glass'.
