Horse Racing
Always a winner with stag parties, horse racing is an excellent way to spend the second day. Everyone loves a flutter on the nags, so round up the group and head for Bratislava racecourse for a classic gambling and drinking session.
Located on the right hand side of the Danube in Petrzalka, the racecourse isn't quite as grand as the likes of Ascot and Newmarket but it's a very pleasant place to spend a lazy afternoon. The bar prices are reasonable and there are around 20 races during the course of an afternoon.
The Slovak betting system is a bit different to ours (no 4/1 and it's all metric) but a guide will get you up to speed in next to no time. Remember that odds are simply a way of describing the probability of a horse winning a race. Any money you win (returns) depends on the horse's odds. Form just refers to a horse's performance in previous races, its pedigree, and predicts its future performance.
When it comes to universally appealing activities for stag parties, horse racing is right up there with karting and paintballing. You can't go wrong with this one.
Horse racing in Bratislava includes:
