Tank Driving
A tank driving Derby stag do will make you look like a total legend! Be the best man who planned the stag of the year by taking the lads off to drive an FV432 tank round an old bombing range in the Leicester countryside. This bad boy isn't just a replica or an item of military surplus. It's the real deal, made for use by the Armed Forces. Find out how it feels to drive in actual tank battle conditions. You even get tank suits and helmets to make the whole experience even more authentic. No driving licence required but you do need to be over 16.
After a briefing at tank HQ, the instructor will take you out for a lap to demonstrate how to drive the tank and get you used to the controls. After that, it's in at the deep end! You're on your own. The first lap is with the hatch open, to ease you in gently. They'll shut the hatch for your second lap to make things more interesting! How will you cope when the hatch goes down and you can only see through the tank's periscope? Panic or nut up and get on with it? The third lap is your choice; will you play it safe or close the hatch once more?
The site is only an hour from Derby. When something this awesome is practically on your doorstep, it has to be done! Probably the most amazing Derby stag do activity on the menu, tank driving will impress the boys no end.
