Weaselling
Get out into the beautiful countryside near Matlock (very close to Derby) for a stag party activity that combines rugged outdoor adventure with total laziness! You won't need a safety harness for this one, lads. The art of weaselling is the art of staying low and slow as you clamber over - or squeeze through - rocky obstacles in the great outdoors.
This is a perfect option if you've got lots of different ages and abilities to cater for-or if you're worried that massive hangovers will render the lads incapable of climbing anything higher than a bar stool! Weaselling and rock scrambling can be done by any person of any age. Think 'having a laugh in the Peak District' rather than 'challenging the boys to a test of manhood'.
We're leaving you in the capable hands of expert outdoor instructors, who'll kit your stag party out with helmets and lead you to a top-notch spot in the wilds of Derbyshire. After learning the basics of weaselling, you'll be let loose on the course to shimmy, scramble and squeeze through gaps in ancient boulder formations. You won't find any of it too taxing, unless you're convinced you're thinner than you really are...
Derby is an epic spot for a bit of stag party drinking. Its main areas of Iron Gate, Sadler Gate and Friar Gate serve perfect pints in dozens of pubs and bars. Don't let all that delicious beer ruin your day out in the country! Book a weaselling course and everyone will get the benefits of fresh air and exercise, without having to abseil off a bridge.
