Track Day Experience
The heart of the British Touring Car Championship calendar and one of the true homes of British racing, Donington is the ideal track day location for a Nottingham stag do.
Located just down the road in Leicestershire, Donington features sweeping bends and the legendary Coppice turn. Even without the Melbourne hairpin bend in play, it offers nearly two miles of rubber-ripping raceway for the souped-up saloons to show what they can do!
Ayrton Senna smashed Damon Hill here in the 1993 European Grand Prix, earning the race the nickname 'Drive of the Decade'.
For your stag do track day, you'll be visiting the pit area and garages courtesy of the Rob Austin Racing Team. Walk where Senna walked, and see the track operating from a mechanic's eye view! It'll be the driver's experience of a lifetime...
There are two cafes at Donington, plus the Pitstop Diner in the Main Paddock. More importantly for thirsty stags, there's Starkey's Bar, which offers a great view of the action between McLeans and Old Hairpin. When you've finished touring Rob's garage, and enjoyed your free drink, we recommend moseying over to Starkey's for a couple of extra bevvies. Cheers!
