Viking warriors, medieval squires and merrie men, pay attention. If you thought every stag party shooting option involved bullets, think again! For real men who reckon they've got what it takes to make an arrow fly straight and true, we present an afternoon of archery in the wilds of Tallinn.
Tallinn's a medieval belter, with an amazing walled Old Town and a history dating back to the 11th century. It's the perfect setting for a bit of competitive archery, with ancient woods and rivers making you feel like you're fighting in Henry V's army or knocking the spots off the Sheriff of Nottingham. Only in the Baltic, which is even better!
A talented instructor's on the team to give the boys a crash course in the lethal art, then it's out to the field to try your mettle. You'll be using classic longbows, which require strength and skill to control. Pull the arrow back in a smooth motion and hold the string taut by your ear. Breathe, and release. A slight wobble when you let the shaft go, and your bolt will miss the mark!
The archery instructor is there to give helpful pointers to your stag party throughout the session.
