Dodgeball

Dodgeball has bashed, smashed and crashed its way from the USA to the cobbled streets of historic York. There's nothing charming about this sport, it's the most violent, petty and downright 'orrible game you can play. All of which makes dodgeball perfect for a stag party. You lot will get into teams and declare all-out war in a tourney that involves a whole host of different dodgeball games. Banned in loads of British schools, this one's mean with a capital 'M'. Get your team strip printed and bring the noise.

On arrival at the venue, you'll be greeted by your host, a trained dodgeball player. He (or she if you've been very good boys) will go through a couple of rules and show you some moves. There's not much to it, the clue's in the name. After that, it's time to warm up with a classic game of gang up on the weak. After you've smashed the classic version of dodgeball, you'll play a few variations. There will be loads of chances to single out the stag for some punishment on the court!

Once you've asserted dominance or been humiliatingly crushed by the other team, head back into the middle of York for a debrief over beers. York is stuffed with pubs, from historic old boozers on Goodramgate to trendier bars on Stonegate. You'll be talking about killer moves and moments for the rest of the stag weekend.
