Not sure about a high ropes course? Don't worry! We've found a quality low ropes course close to York, which offers all the skill and testing technique of an elevated obstacle course, but without the insane altitudes.
You need to be pretty sure that no-one in the stag party is going to freeze on a high rope obstacle. Put the same thing close to the ground, with soft landing pads on all sides, and everyone gets to have fun. As best man, it's your call. But if you reckon anyone in the team will back out of a big drop, book the low ropes instead. We guarantee you'll have just as much fun, and no-one will have to change his underpants!
The low ropes course includes balance beams, a zip wire, rope and chain bridges and leap logs. Everyone gets a helmet and overalls to protect against dirt and falls, and course completion is guaranteed.
Failing to complete a high ropes course can put a dampener on the stag party for some of the lads. This way, everyone gets to finish and no-one goes back to York feeling like they let the side down.
